| Water leaks out the bottom when second fill is attempted. |
The side clamps are up to high on the mold so the bottom expanded. |
Place mold in sink and fill the sink with hot water up to the mouth piece, let sit for about 20 minutes until mold comes back together. Then reposition the clamps, fill to second line and put back into freezer. |
| Large horizontal cracks in the ice below the top surface. |
The mold was overfilled. Only fill to the lines indicated on the back of the mold. |
Run warm water over the exterior of the mold from the top down to the cracked area, this will allow water to seep down to the crack on the next fill. Do the next fill and place the mold back into the freezer. |
| Hoses will not pull out of the ice. |
The more complex the run the more surface area of the hoses. |
Just let the mold sit a little longer as the hoses will warm up and release easily from the ice. |
| Cracks form around the top of the hoses. |
This is normal and expected as it indicates you are ready for the next fill. |
Add water to the next fill line and place mold back into the freezer. The subsequent layers will fill in any cracks. Due to the small volume of water used in the last layer it will not crack on the top. |
These hoses have been specially designed for this unit if one should snap under normal operating conditions we need to know, please email customerservice@icebooze.com. |
